Winter vacation in South Bohemia

If the weather is cold enough you can expect a frozen lake Lipno during your winter vacation.

It creates an excellent place for ice skating. As soon as the ice is 18 cm thick, a 10 km long and 6 m wide skating ring is opened and connects Lipno and Frymburk. This skating ring is something unique and you have to try it!

For cross country skiers - there are almost 40 km running tracks arranged for cross country skiers between Lipno and Frymburk.

A local specialty is a track on frozen Lake Lipno. Or you can just enjoy snow-covered landscapes for romantic walks.

Frymburk and Lipno nad Vltavou have traditionally been visited also for downhill skiing.

A ski lift and ski slope for beginners and children is located directly in Frymburk, near Maxant Hotel.

Skiareal Lipno is a modern ski resort that offers endless comfort for families with children and for beginners. It is less than 7 km away.
