In summer, you can experience a number of pleasant and exciting moments with water sports like windsurfing, yachting or kite boarding and other attractions on the waters of Lipno, the largest lake of Czech Republic. Kite boarding have become very popular in recent years. Or you can just lie down and relax on one of many Lipno’s beaches. We can also recommend taking a boat tour on Lipno.
Very exciting are also rafting and canoeing trips on the Vltava River. Lake Lipno and the Vltava River areas are a fisherman’s paradise. There is also a row boat available for our hotel guest.
sAlso wide variety of activates await you on the shores of the lake. In spring, summer and autumn we recommend a trip to see the scenic surroundings – by foot or bicycle – where there are endless conveniently marked routes for those who love the nature of the Bohemian Forest and cultural monuments.
The cyclists may take advantage of cycling trails in Austria and Germany too. They are all connected to the trails at the Czech part of the Bohemian Forest (Šumava – Böhmerwald).

- There is no better way to relax after a day of biking than in a swimming pool, Jacuzzi or having a massage.
Nordic walking (sticks are available at the hotel reception desk) and inline skating are getting very popular in the Lipno area. Lipno in its diversity offers facilities for inline skating as experienced inline skaters, as well as those with little or no inline skating experience.
Finally the long-awaited biking path which runs along the lake and connects Frymburk and Lipno was opened this year. You have the opportunity to ride along the shore of the lake on a bike or inline skate and enjoy the view of the largest lake in the Czech Republic – the lake Lipno.
This section is mostly flat, so it is suitable for beginners and families with children.
Another activity for those who seek excitement and adventure on their summer vacation is a scenic bob sleigh ride in Lipno nad Vltavou. Each of introduced activities can be reached after a few minutes from our hotel.
South Bohemia is a region that has a large number of historical landmarks such as castles and chateau Cesky Krumlov, Hluboka nad Vltavou, Jindrichuv Hradec, monasteries in Vyssi Brod and Zlata Koruna and other beautiful places.

Frymburk is ideally situated close to the Austrian border – check point Guglwald 10 km- as well as Germany’s border– check point Strážný- Philipsreut 50 km.
After you come back from your bike tour, you can relax in the swimming pool, sauna, have a massage or just with a chilled beer on one of our two terraces.
